DUTIES:

Transport students to school and home

*Drug and alcohol testing and fingerprinting are required by federal law.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must comply with the license requirements of the State of Oregon and enjoy working with young people.  Applicants must know or be willing to learn information contained in such publications as Oregon School Bus Driver's Manual, Emergency Procedures for School Bus Drivers, Oregon State Board of Education's Regulations Governing Pupils Riding School Buses. Excellent driving record & even-tempered.  

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

Drive daily route morning and after school. Generally M-Th (some Fridays)

Follow school calendar – approx. 16 hours per week

Possible additional after school activity bus hours, sports trips,

Field trips and food delivery

 

WAGES:

$17.73-$22.80 per hour depending on experience

**Up to $1,200 Bonus ($400 with first paycheck if applicant holds a current CDL, $400 after training and physical, & $400 at conclusion of probationary period.) 

 

 

BEGINNING DATE: Training- Immediately

Fees for licensing, tests and fingerprinting are employees responsibility (some fees may be reimbursed upon completion of testing and driving). Training provided by the district on site (no cost)
