Qualifications: 

• *Previous custodial experience required
• *Fingerprinting and criminal history check required
•  Must be a high school graduate/or equivalent (GED)
•  Knowledge of cleaning methods of uniforms, floors, carpets, and other building materials
•  Ability to use cleaning materials and equipment with skill, efficiency, and safety
•  Have a wide range of skills and abilities to make minor repairs to building and equipment
•  Ability to perform moderately heavy lifting (50-75 lbs) and other tasks requiring physical strength
•  Ability to maintain harmonious relationships with students, staff, and general public
•  Able to supervise students, and patrons as needed
•  Able to comply with directives, follow routines, and make appropriate decisions
•  Willing to work flexible hours

 

Duties:

•  Oversee facilities security and maintenance while on campus
•  Sweeps, mops, waxes, polishes, vacuums, dusts, collects and empties waste and trash
•  Cleans mirrors, blinds, light fixtures, windows, walls, and drinking fountains
•  Disinfects restrooms and replenishes towels, tissues, and soap Sweeps walks and keeps premises in orderly condition   including routine grounds keeping Moves, sets up, and maintains furniture, equipment, and supplies
•  Maintain proper lighting, heating, and ventilation throughout the plant
•  Make minor repairs to plumbing, heating, ventilation, and electrical units as needed
•  Perform other duties as assigned by plant coordinator or administration
•  Maintains confidentiality – professional confidential standards with employees, parents, students and community members

 

WAGES:   Starting at $19.30
