About the Position:
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality instruction aligned with state standards and the Kindergarten curriculum.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
Develop and implement lesson plans that balance literacy, numeracy, social-emotional learning, and play-based activities.
Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families, staff, and administration.
Collaborate with grade-level team members and support staff.
Maintain classroom routines and expectations established by the regular teacher.
Qualifications:
Valid Oregon teaching license (Early Childhood or Elementary Education).
Prior teaching experience in early childhood or elementary setting preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Familiarity with EasyCBM, Response to Intervention (RTI), and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Experience in a Title I school setting preferred.
Compensation:
Salary range: $44,058 – $84,176, depending on experience.
Salary will be pro-rated according to start date.
